Can you tell me a little about yourself and your background?
Raised in Stockholm with an active engagement in nature through skiing, scouting, and orienteering. Throughout my upbringing, I have been driven by a curiosity towards people and surroundings, with travel both within and outside of Europe playing a significant role.
After high school, I did my military service in the artillery in Boden, and after completing it, I moved to Linköping to study for a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management. Through my studies and the year working as a project manager at the technology fair in Linköping, as well as my studies in the USA, I became even more committed and interested in how the right kind of leadership and conditions can make individuals and organizations grow.
My professional life has been largely characterized by change projects or creating structure and clarity to be able to lead a company forward. Being business-driven has always been there, and with my soft side for people, change management and business have become a common thread for me.
What attracted you to take on the role of COO at Norteam?
Partly, I come from a similar role, but I also felt a strong connection to what Norteam is facing – scaling up business and organization. These are challenges that give me a lot of energy, and I enjoy working to create conditions for new opportunities.
What motivates you in your role?
To set high ambitions and to be involved in making improvements together with colleagues.
What do your visions and goals look like for Norteam?
To concretize where we are heading with Norteam and through that create participation and clear inclusion for all employees so everyone knows how they contribute to and influence the path to the goal.
What do you prefer to do when you're not at work?
When I'm not working, I spend a lot of time with my wife and two children. We live in Solna and we love to travel, to be outdoors, and I try to exercise as much as I can.
